Shrooms are so under-rated!  They look great in your tank and I really should get more for my tank.

Thanks, and yeah - you should get some! They're very easy to care for too. 🥰

Spotted my spaghetti worm out in the open - it's still alive and very active: 😮

Limpet - it's quite big now! 😊 :

This next post is a bit sad, but I expected it because when I first picked this frag up from the LFS, it was quite unhealthy. Partial polyp bailout of the pearl bubble coral: 😓

Unfortunately, the hammer is at its end with another round of BJD. It looks awful: 😭

Sorry to hear the BJD issues, but your Yuma pics are awesome!

Yeah, it sucked to lose such a huge colony like that. 😓

Thanks though! I like taking pics of the shrooms. 😊

reason #1 stress

reason #2 reproduction

Any chance it is reason #2?

I think stress. I removed it from the sandbed and a LOT of bristleworms spilled put from the base of the coral. 😓

I placed it on the rocks, but the polyps are still dangling from the skeleton. 😭

Dropped a bunch of pellets on the yuma by mistake - was actually aiming for the ledge next to it: 😅

Finally retrieved the blue discosoma shroom from the sandbed and reglued it to Mushroom Mountain:

It appears unhurt, which is good. 👍

I never realized how truly large he was until this very moment. 😮

He is very cool though. I think the sump is a good place for him.

It is. He's quite beneficial, actually. He indirectly seeds the fuge and sump with different types of macro, and I believe he feeds on the sponges/tunicates in the fuge. I've tried feeding him prepared before, and he kept rejecting it. So I left him on his own, and he seems to be faring well without my intervention. I like watching him because he travels all over the sump - sometimes I catch him on my filter floss or even bag of coral stones - but most of the time, he lives and retreats to the fuge. 🙂

Ya can't beat that...a cool creature who takes care of his own needs.

Current status of my pearl bubble coral - still dangling and it doesn't look too good: 😕

The polyps haven't bailed out fully, so I'm not sure what elseI can do except to leave it alone.

Here's Goblin:

Still so many empty spots. Will definitely try to fill those up with more shrooms. 👍

Well, the pearl bubble polyps finally fully bailed out today afternoon:

And wound up next to my yuma:

I poked it off the rocks using a chopstick because it might sting the shrooms. The polyps are currently on the sandbed. 😕

Red devil shroom:

The rest of the corals are okay. The cynarina is a bit retracted, but I think it is being irritated by the cluster of bristleworms that live under the frag plug. 🤔
