Picked up a new frag today (flowerpot coral)

Went to the LFS and saw this flower pot coral, it was only $14.99 so thought I would give it a try

That's really nice! I was just reading an article about someone who was saying he didn't have them do well (long term) until he started feeding the daylights out of his. It's be nice to hear what makes yours happy.

I have the most recent issue of reef hobbist magazine and it talks about flowerpot corals. They sound challenging but with the right placement and frequent feeding I hope it will work out. I’m going to be using reef roids.

If it works for you, let us know! My LFS has a type in their display they are calling a pest, but I'm afraid I'll kill it. But they are so pretty.
