Some coral healthy, others dying?

Hi everyone,

I’ve had my Nuvo 10 up for 4 months now. My euphyllia all seem to be doing well — one branch has started 6 tiny heads off the main stalk.

I also have a piece of hynophora up high that is vibrant and usually extended.

Ive gone through a couple pieces of Acan, however, that don’t extend in my tank. I also have some favites that have slowly been losing color and fading away.

I’ve tried a couple different locations for variation in lighting and flow with no real success.

Any ideas on why acans and favites might not be doing well?

I try to feed the acans and hammers once a week with mysis. The acans used to readily pull them in but now ignore the shrimp.

Only inhabitant right now is a yasha hasha goby.

Alk Swing could be an issue. It usually varies from 8 after a WC to 7 at the end of the week. Is this enough to upset the coral?
