You've got more patience than me! I really want a pair of dwarf seahorses in my evo 13.5 once I migrate everything (well, the wife wants a pair of seahorses and I wish the 13.5 would work), but the feeding live food and keeping cultures is too much work.

Should check out @vlangel‘s pico! She’s the seahorse queen. Also saw on PJ Reef’s website they sell all in one dwarf seahorse jars that are awesome.

Few more pics of my frags & Peter the pipefish. Added some pulsing Xenia yesterday... I know they can take over and I’ll prob regret it, but dammit I wanted it!! It’s so fun!

 

 

My birds of paradise has some macro algae growing off a branch (came like that) and it is stuuuuck onto there. Couldn’t pull it off when I added it couple weeks ago but imma just let it do its thing for now.

Ah thanks pricewayne!  I know how to keep the big seahorses but the dwarfs are still new to me too.  Hopefully I will learn a lot with my little pico.

Peter the pipefish is so adorable! I really miss keeping pipefish. I used to have 4 dragonfaces in a 10G. They were delicate, but they had the cutest of faces. 😊

Funny thing is I didn't even add any of the Hawaiian bristle worms to my tank.  Gave them away to a local reefer.  LOL. 

 

But I did spot a couple tiny tiny bristle worms in my rockwork the other day, but they are probably LA worms.  They stay pretty hidden tho.  Probably holed up in a cave working on their latest script.

I did pickup my first inhabitant for the tank!! Going to add my staghorn crab once cycle finishes (have him in my main tank for now).

 

 

Grabbed a small pink zoa frag I’ll add eventually - also in my main tank for now. I’ll grab a pic tonight/tomorrow and update.

 

Love having the little succulent plants in the pink planter beside the tank... anyone know if the LEDs will harm plants? Hope not.

Your rocks remind me of a scorpion going to strike. The tank is looking great. Your Pipe fish and the stag horn crab are awesome.

HA! Thank you 🙂 am loving the goni. Bit anxious about the xenia possibly taking over in the future, but I just could not help myself. Figure I'd rather try it out in a pico instead of my larger tank.

I love him!! Am I crazy thinking I saw you recently added two bluestripe pipefish as well? Maybe to your new 60g?

Thanks!! Still haven't moved my staghorn over from my other tank yet. Since I removed the sand from the pico, I'm hesitant to make his move over (he spends all day sifting the sand). Still at odds on whether I'll move him or not -- I'd LOVE to, but I'll definitely need to remove the two smaller rock pieces in the bottom left to give him some ground space to hangout in.

I love the pink silicon and a staghorn is a cool crab.  Also I love your other tank with the blue striped pipe.  I always wanted one of those but never got one.

Pipefish and the staghorn are so cute!  The tank reminds me of one I think Up Aqua produced but I can't find it on their site to confirm. I have several of their ultra white glass picos and like them.

Thanks!! Am determined to keep this pico going beyond the competition... the pink silicone is really so fun to look at.

I’d love to find out what brand the tank is! It was sold just as is without a box.

Oh - those were just a pair I filmed at the store. I didn't bring any home. 

 

It would be nice to set up a species-only macro tank for them though. Maybe someday. 😊

To me, your tank is most interesting out of the bunch. From the pink silicone tank that makes it look floating, to the unique inhabitants. Well done! 

Ps don't be mad if my tank ends up with pipefish in it. Would love to see a short video so I don't have to buy one...

Wouldn’t be mad one bit of you get a pipefish. The bluestripe is the smallest of the pipefish from what I’ve read... I’m already considering a dedicated pipefish setup for after the competition bc he’s been so fun.
