seashellshelly Posted September 28, 2004 Share Posted September 28, 2004 Today I came home to find that one of my scarlet hermits decided it needed a bigger shell so I guess it took one from a snail. I'm wondering if there is a dead snail somewhere in my tank just waiting to screw up my water quality. Should I be looking for the snail or just assume he got eaten?? Thanks Shelly Link to comment
matt the fiddler Posted September 28, 2004 Share Posted September 28, 2004 he is dead. hermits can live [short times] wiht out shells. doign that to snails it is like ripping a backbone out of a human. i am suprised the US government has not bitten down on hermits for theri terrorist liek tendencies! LOl the kill wiht out even moving in a lot. jsut leave the dead snail and shell hangin loose... for my other Nass snails to come and eat Link to comment
