@748S911 got some macro algae too.

 

@yoshii and anyone else, is there anything special I should do to add macro to avoid any unwanted pests or otherwise?  Only macro I've ever really had before was chaeto and I never really did anything before plopping them in.

I usually just visually inspect them. Most common pest on macro is Aiptasia and other macros. Pluck off any parts with baby Aiptasia you see, and you should be good to go. Some people dip theirs, but depending on the species some macros don't do well in some dips

Picked up 2 of these cute baby RFAs from the Coral Farmers Market today.  They were the first to go into the pico. 

 

There were a lot of color options, but picked these because they reminded me of hibiscus flowers which would match the theme of my tank. 

 

I randomly saw these hibiscus outside a restaurant where we stopped for lunch right after the coral show.

I also picked up 4 frags of these green zoas.  I'd like to create a lush green terrain at the base of the volcano with these.

Picked up some dragon's breath as well. 

 

Inspecting now per @yoshii's instructions.  Don't see orange tips tho.  And no idea how to keep these in place in the pico.  Glue? String? I'm not a macro guy.  🤷‍♂️

Results of my macroalgae inspection:

• Lots of strands of chaeto;
• Couple bubble algae;
• Human eyelash (not sure mine or the LFS worker's); 
• Zero aiptasia (phew); and
• Zero bristle worms (good thing I ordered 6 babies from Kona!).

Its killer.. everything about it flows and looks natural land/seascape..with just a few corals... 😂 green zoas look amazing at base of volcano. Did they teach this in law school?

Lol.  Thanks!  I first started this hobby in law school, probably as an avoidance tactic because of how much I hated law school.  So in some ways I guess I have law school to tank for getting me into this hobby.
