Tigahboy
Haven't posted photos of my hermits in awhile.  Lele taking in the view.  And Big Kahuna! Just dangling from the palm trees of course. 2 3 Quote Link to comment

Thanks! Yeah, I don't blame ya. This thread is way too long.  And @748S911 is pretty much right; first like 30 pages are basically photos of an empty tank. Lol.  1 2 Quote Link to comment

Keeping it clean has been a lot of work, but worth it. 🙂  33 minutes ago, Wingy said: Do you still have the Aqamai in there?  No. Unfortunately I couldn't keep the dragon's breath in place with the Aqamai, so it was moved to my 20g. Put the Hydor Pico Evo-Mag 180 back in. 1 Quote Link to comment

Tigahboy
Everything is in the tank now.  Picked up these 3 blue rics today at an LFS near me.  And finally found some green clove polyps. They haven't opened up yet, so no photo. They looked a bit pale to me under the LFS's metal halides. Hoping they look better under my LEDs or will color back up over time.  The clove polyps did come with this hitchiker - a tiny baby maxi mini nem. 🤗  Gonna glue the cloves down to some rock later tonight. 8 5 Quote Link to comment
A.m.P
Lol, I can't even get Coraline hitchhikers on my frags... Lucky bugger, can't wait to see everything once it's done pouting. 1 3 Quote Link to comment
Pjanssen
Love the blue rics. Every time I buy interesting colored ricordea they always end up turning green. Not sure if its lights or chemistry. 2 Quote Link to comment

Ricordea Florida are known for rapidly and permanently changing colors in new environments, everything from temperature to water chemistry or lighting/flow can have a dramatic impact from what I've read. (Mine stayed mostly yellow though so maybe not always?) 2 1 Quote Link to comment

Yup.  I've had Rics split and then change colour as I move the new Ricordea into a new spot.  Its down to lighting more than anything in my experience. 2 Quote Link to comment
