I'd take the plug off of whatever you have it glued to and put it in a small container with water and then inject lemon juice or boiling water straight onto it and then remove/disintegrate it. Rinse well and then put back in tank. If you don't have to deal with it in the display tank it's to your benefit since the stuff spreads if you mess with it in the tank. Quote Link to comment
