Butchy21
So I currently been using a faucet diverter (https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/chrome-faucet-diverter-valve.html) to hook up my RODI to a cold water source at my sink faucet (it has to be hooked up and unhooked for every use). It has worked OK however recently I can't get a good seal. The water sprays everywhere! My guess is either the threading is screwed up or the gasket in the diverter is damaged. I will be trying to find new gaskets but in the mean time I wanted to look into possibly plumbing the RODI unit directly into the cold water line under my sink. I need a little help with this - From my reading, it sounds like the steps would be: 1. Turn off cold water supply 2. Unhook the cold water line from the sink 3. Screw in an angle stop valve after the water stop valve - BRS sells one listed here. https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/john-guest-angle-stop-valve.html 4. Reattach cold water line to stop valve and then to the sink This seems too easy- am I missing any other connections required? Quote Link to comment
DreC80
That's how I did mine. Pretty easy and straightforward. Quote Link to comment

Awesome- Ok, I was confused because someone mentioned to put in an angle stop and then a separate ball valve. I figured it would work either way but I am not plumber ha. Quote Link to comment
DreC80
I don't think a separate ball valve is required. It looks like the angle stop has a valve on it to control flow to the rodi unit. 1 Quote Link to comment
