I did that once in college. In an 1990 rav4. Don’t go off-roading in the rain in Moreno Valley 🤣why is it when the “ride” is over you euphorically laugh?

Thanks for all the kind words, folks! Considering the severity of the accident, I’m lucky to have come out as unscathed as I did!

 

First of all, it’s a blessing that my daughter wasn’t in the car, and I am eternally thankful for that.

 

Secondly, I’m thankful that I didn’t injure anyone else or cause property damage, as this accident was in a busy canyon during 5 o clock rush hour traffic yesterday.

 

I didn’t hit my head or injure my neck, and I climbed out of the ravine directly after the accident so I knew I didn’t have any serious breaks. The xrays didn’t show any lung punctures, possibly a few rib fractures, and I feel okay considering the situation. Sore and bruised and scraped up, but alive and kicking.

 

 

As soon as I muster the energy, I’ll take a June FTS of the tank. Mostly looking the same, moved a couple things around. Great growth on the Jack-o-lantern lepto and the Kryptonite candy canes! The candy cane started as a tiny head with one mouth and now I think it’s splitting three ways!!!

and here is the candy cane. Two visible mouths in this pic but at times it looks like there is a third mouth forming between and above these two, but it may just be part of the process of splitting

 

 

The newest acan has 4 babies that seem to have a greener appearance than momma, so interesting to see if my lights make the babies have a different color morph

 

 

And my sps is growing nicely. Starting to encrust the plug I glued it to when I fragged it, and almost always has great polyp extension, even during moonlights. 

 

 

and thats all for now. Excuse the dirty glass, I’ll clean things up a bit in a day or so

I got the mother colony at petco for $14.99, and broke a little branch off of it when I got it home. That little branch spent 30 minutes on the carpet before I found it, lol. It sure has bounced back and is growing rapidly.

 

the mother colony is growing super fast in my 7 gallon nano as well.

Spot fed my frozen mix yesterday, and today everyone is looking super happy. I gotta spot feed more often...lol. I had an auto feeder feeding them pellets once a day while I was gone. I think they prefer the frozen food though. The bigger head on the Duncan is gigantic.

Yeah, unfortunately it's got...stuff.. on it. Lol...But it was only a buck, i'll make sure it's one of the first purchases when I get a new car eventually

Yes, I'm eternally grateful that my daughter wasn't in the car and I didn't injure anyone. And I don't think I have superpowers, but if they surface, you'll be the first to know. No, I think I got lucky this time. Actually, that was a safe little car. I think all passengers woulda survived, the inside of that car was remarkably intact.I shoulda bought a lotto ticket that day, it was the Mega drawing...lol
