Clown79
New addition to the tank. Its purdy...but you gotta wait till the lights come on for a pic😁 3 Quote Link to comment
debbeach13
Oh sure. Go to other threads and leave compliments based on photo's but if someone come's to your thread to maybe do that. They get a tease about new addition. What time are lights on? 4 Quote Link to comment
pricewayne
@Clown79 - curious if you’re planning to dose the pico with any 2 part? I haven’t been testing alk/ca/mag for mine... would be great if I can get away with just weekly water changes but love your expertise for a setup this small. 1 Quote Link to comment

Most likely going to rely on waterchanges unless I notice a significant drop in alk I wasn't testing either. From April 26th to May 13th there was no waterchanges. My alk drop from 8.5 to 7.5. I dosed because I am not doing regular waterchanges right now. With my pico jar, I never testing or dosed. I relied on weekly 80-100% WC. 5 hours ago, MetaTank said: Great growth on the Lepto! Mine is off to the side of the tank in low/moderate light. Flow is definitely lower in that area. I am feeding heavy in this tank to raise nutrients to kill off dino's. That worked in my 25g. I feed coral food every other day and dose phyto every other day on days I don't feed. I dosed copepods and feeding them phyto keeps them reproducing. My photo period was dropped due to dino's. It's on for 4 hrs. 1 Quote Link to comment

Keep Alk & Cal stable and still do 50% waterchanges. 2 Quote Link to comment

Clown79
So my new addition. He's really small. Obviously he will be rehome when he outgrows this tank. 7 1 Quote Link to comment

debbeach13
Love the new fish. Of course I happen to be fond of damsels. Many are so colorful, usually very hardy and inexpensive. I hope it does well for you. Quote Link to comment

I hope he does well too, he eats like a pig. 3 Quote Link to comment
Clown79
So happy. Checked under microscope yesterday and I couldn't find any dino's. Plan on adding some corals hopefully soon. I moved the tank into my kitchen. It's just too cute to keep in a room I'm never in! 5 Quote Link to comment

Wendy
That's great to see the growth on the JackOLantern! How well are the other corals doing now? They do look happy & fantastic!!! I like your cute lil fish! Hopefully he settles in nicely & behaves himself. Quote Link to comment
Clown79
Thanks everyone. I switched the tank into the kitchen so I had to switch the light from my Abi to the Nemolight. Since the switch nothing is opening or looking too great. I tried running the light very low then a bit higher. No change. My params are great. Temp stable, sg stable, I even added additional flow to see if that was an issue. No change. The Par 38 won't fit under the cupboards so I may have to buy another light. Quote Link to comment
