Underworld2.0 Posted May 16, 2019 Author Share Posted May 16, 2019 ok finally was able to sign into my account to post updates! pics to come later So the tank is cycled 😉 Added an led strip for dusk effect (12" ledenet from amazon) and kept the ABI and I am super happy with the out come. I also added sand from an established reef and removed some rock, removed the matrix from the tidal and added chaeto, plans definitly have changed for the tank but its been a great change! I have 4 corals in the tank doing very well. 1 acan frag, 1 baby plate its green with orange mouths and doing very well, a purple and orange lepastrea, and my favorite of the group a WWC sunkist bounce still dont have my filters for better pictures but I should by saturday! note: my kids and wife are begging me to get a fish or shrimp, not sure if I really want to though, as for me this was always going to be a coral tank. I literally have more pods in this tank that Ive ever seen in a reef 1 Quote Link to comment

Underworld2.0 Posted July 13, 2019 Author Share Posted July 13, 2019 So I managed to keep everything alive with no power for 5 days, the only coral that seems to have suffered was my baby plate coral. I had to move the tank to the basement because of the heat upstairs and used the last plug on the generator for a pump, and tank was in window for light, with help of a friend made me water for a change in the process. 1 3 Quote Link to comment
