I finally added my TSB, Miko, to the tank today. He seems a bit cautious, as expected of fish thrust into new environments:

And I am also thinking of moving my Rainbow Implosions to my 60G. What say all of you? Yay, or nay? 🤔

And of course. Derp. Still trampling over things and feeding bits of corals to other corals. I think he is my new spirit animal. 🤣

All hail the Great Overlord of Crabby Chaos! 😮

I also have a crabby overlord😂. He’s a inch and a half long zebra hermit and he is king😂

This leather is really growing well:

Documented growth of the leather coral over 1 month:

Growth of the green hairy shroom over 25 days:

The tank has a small outbreak of red flatworms. So I will be giving all the shrooms a dip since the flatworms seem to love the shrooms the most.

Yeah. I was quite surprised at how much it has grown until I looked through my phone's gallery.

Tank is currently overrun by red flatworms. Infestation is pretty bad and I have lost a few corals - been trying to dip everything except the major LR, and it looks like most of the corals can't handle the daily dips.

I quickly moved my rainbow implosions to my 60G to save it because I lost a few polyps. I am thinking of moving my Acans and clove polyps (lost 1 clove already) to the larger tank too.

If it gets too bad, I might have to take the tank back down and restart it from scratch. I have no plans on using Flatworm Exit because given the size of the tank, it will crash the system.

Please don't request for pics. It's deeply disappointing and upsetting to see this happen to the pico. I'll try my best to get it back on track. If I fail, I'll try again but if I keep hitting a dead end, I'll strip it down to figure out what to do next. 😓

Only good news is Derp and his friends are all alive and ok. I'll keep you all posted.

I hope so. I love my little tank so much. I fell back a bit on maintenance because I had some RL-stuff going on, but it was so disheartening to lose some of my coral. I saved a few choice pieces. I'm wondering if I should just dip-dip-dip and then temporarily move them to the 60G. But my large reef is flatworm free, and if even one of those little buggers make it into that tank, I'm in for hell.

The only good thing is that the inverts and fish are unaffected, and I have a lot of pods and spirochaetes on the walls.

This is terrible so sorry for your troubles. I would not risk the 60G.

I’m just wondering, but would I six line wrasse eat flatworms?

I know - an outbreak in a tank that size would be disastrous. 😞

Not sure. Never really heard of it, but even if it could, I can't and won't put a sixline in a 2.9G. It's unethical, and wrasses love to swim. I have a pink streak in my 60G and she's making use of all areas of my tank, constantly darting from rockwork to rockwork. Sixlines are even more active than pink streaks, I think.

Not sure. Never really heard of it, but even if it could, I can't and won't put a sixline in a 2.5G. It's unethical, and wrasses love to swim. Oh, didn’t realize that it was 2.5 gallons. The pictures are misleading😬

Sorry, I meant 2.9G. I'm half-asleep and it's late on my end.

But yeah, it's a super-small pico and not suited for anything other than a very tiny goby or blenny. Plus, I already have two fish in here - 1 TSB (Miko) & 1 Circus Barred Goby (Prowler).
