Will cupramine kill aiptasia?

I found my first aip and I was wondering if I just pull the entire rock and toss it in my Qt tank which is currently dosed cupramine. Will it kill the aiptasia?

It will kill aiptasia, but the rock will absorb some of the copper and render it unsuitable to use in a reef environment. You have to use muriatic acid to get the copper out of the rock, or use a poly filter to pull it out which can take months. Not worth it IMO over some aiptasia.

I just boil some water on the stove....use a 10ml syringe to draw it up and melt the suckers flooding there hole. Works great for me.
