Thrassian Atoll
I don’t know much about Macroalgae but I would guess dragons breath. One of the more desirable types. Quote Link to comment

Hi Christopher, Yes, it is beautiful! It is inside my tank in Hong Kong and I discovered it 4 months ago~ I am not sure it is from Asia sea only or the algae has golden orange dot disease XD Seems that it is rare for fish tank as I asked several shops but they don't see it before. Hopefully ID. Quote Link to comment

Thanks and Yes, I think it is a type of dragons breath but not sure the "function" of the orange dot that cannot be found on common dragons breath😄 Quote Link to comment
yoshii
It's a type of Halymenia, aka a type of Dragon's Breathe just as others have commented. A very nice piece! Quote Link to comment

A very nice piece! Thanks Yoshii! Yes, I search Halymenia and some of the photos show the similar dot pattern on the leaves like photo Ruffled halymenia but not shiny orange. Excited to know the function of the golden orange dot^^ Quote Link to comment
