Partially Submerged
I made a plateau for a land part for fiddler crabs and mangroves, using egg crate and plastic canvas. Now I need to cover this whole thing in coarse gravel and small pebbles. I usually just use super glue, but for these large areas, that's just not an option. Can someone recommend an aquarium safe adhesive that comes in pint size and up, and can be brushed/smothered on in generous amounts? I saw "AF Poly Glue Adhesive" on BRS (https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/af-poly-glue-adhesive-aquaforest.html), but it's $30, and if there's an alternative that's not marketed for aquarium use (and thus a lot cheaper), I'd like to go with that. Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment
skipm
How about aquarium silicone? 1 Quote Link to comment
Firefish15
Sounds like a similar process to making custom vivarium backgrounds. I would go the silicone route as well. It doesn't necessarily have to be sold as aquarium silicone either, just make sure it says 100% silicone, and doesn't have any anti-fungus/mold properties. Quote Link to comment
