Hi I am setting up an IM 10 and wanted to hear everyone’s thoughts on this scape. My only problem might me the lack of places for coral but I don’t know.

I like the shapes but that is a lot of vertical area which is definitely hard for placing corals and shading down below.

Is the rock attached to that base?  If you could lay it down flat over both the purple rocks, it might give it a cave look, and give you more room for coral

That is true, I'll try that. It isn't attached yet so I can move it.

That too, just generally that rock is too big, you want lots of smaller rock for a tank that size

I know but I like to use bigger rocks because I need to the move the tank pretty often. The only problem is that they're hard to scape with.

I think I am going to look for a rock that I can use to bridge the gap.

You’ve got some good rocks to work with. I personally like a fair bit of negative space in a scape.  I recommend using the large pillar rock from the first photo alone. In a back corner (which side depends how the tank will be viewed) with the left side from that pic being the bottom.  Keep at least an inch of sandbed between the rock and glass.  Then use the smaller purple rock near the opposite front corner (not too close to the glass or big rock. Again but be sure there’s sandbed visible between the two rocks. Lastly use a small rock that is shorter than the purple one near the center but slightly towards the front and opposite side of the purple rock.  I hope that makes sense.

I like this one but as @hotdrop stated you definitely want some room on the side to clean the glass.  You have several levels and which gives you good options for corals along each level.  Some good sand space on the front right as well.
