Dawn to Dusk Lighting Schedule?

How long do most Nano tank owners run the Dawn to Dusk lights? Do corals benefit at all from the blue lights?

I used to run 8 with 2 hr ramp times.  Decided to increase to 10 with 2 hr ramp times and saw noticeable growth.  The whites are at 7% throughout the duration. I have an AI hydra 26 at 45% growing softies and lps. 

 

Yes, blues, in my tank, helped with coral growth.

Blue light is very important to corals.

 

In the lighting section a member has a thread describing each led colour, purpose and importance.

 

I run very low white, high blues.

 

I like to have 2 hrs ramp up, peak for 7, 2 hrs ramp down, and 4 hrs noon light.

 

Depends on the lights capabilities for customizing schedules and percentages
