Kup612
So I’m new to the Nano-Reef world , it’s been a blast so far but I’m waiting for the issues to strike !! Lol . I currently have a bullet clown and your regular Nemo as everyone likes to call it . A CUC of 6 ( 4 snails , 2 red legged Hermit crabs ) also have 4 corals ( green Torch , green candy cane , Florida Orange Ricordea and green star polyps) . I’m going to take a breath now for a few weeks but then want to add another small fish to the Biocube 16 . Any suggestions ? I don’t want to trigger any issues . I will add more CUC once added . 1 Quote Link to comment
slavsquatdoobie
I would suggest a goby or blenny. Something that doesn't swim too freely. Quote Link to comment
Clown79
I would stick to something small, it will help with territory and nutrients. A clown goby, hi red fin goby, tail spot blenny are some that come to mind. 1 Quote Link to comment
Kup612
So since this post I added a Royal Gramma . Added some corals and a fire shrimp . Clown hang in back and top and Gramma hangs middle bottom . I think 3 fish is the most I can safely do in a 16 biocube although I was still thinking of something very small. 4 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Your tank and scape is very beautiful. I think you can get away with something very small like a YCG, GCG, TSB, yasha or hi-fin. The last two can be paired up with a pistol and will live on your sandbed. The rest are perchers. 1 Quote Link to comment
kimdawg
I don't have fish suggestions, but just want to say your tank looks awesome. I love your rock work. 1 Quote Link to comment
Jesterrace
I would say your 16 gallon is probably maxed out now. IMHO it's a bit small for the Royal Gramma's swimming habits but it could work. Quote Link to comment

The clowns mainly stay up top and in the back , they all have their territories nicely established. Do you have any experience with adding Tigger Copepods to your tank ? I added them to make sure my sandsifter starfish would always have some food but I don’t see any in the tank after I added them , I can’t fathom that the fish at them all !! Quote Link to comment
Mark18
Wow looks amazing, you’ve done a great job. Did the rock take long to scape? 1 Quote Link to comment
Kup612
So I ended up adding a Hi-fin Barbershop Goby , he is perfect and tiny . He comes for shrimp feeding otherwise he has made a nice home in the rocks . I’ve been using “Fuel” for the corals and man do they love it !! Quote Link to comment
