Some commonly used lights are: AI Prime HD- need 2 Kessil - need 2 Nanobox dual nanobox ride Current orbit marine Mars aqua or viparpectra - 2 I don't use a skimmer on my 25g. Each system is different. Bioload, maintenance schedule, feeding, coral you choose, are factors that determine if you need one or not.
