Hey guys, so i was checking up on my reef tank and looking closely i see a ton of these little guys. I am curious what they are? Are they beneficial to the tank? Or are they a pest?

Spiroid worms.  They are not harmful and a sign that your tank is taking off.  They generally won't continue growing in well lit tanks and prefer the darker areas for some reason.

They are easily scraped off with a razor blade if you were to choose to.

Those Spiroid Worms are like mouth herpes! Not harmful in any way but unsightly (in my opinion) and once they are present in your tank, they will always be there. I ran my system pretty clean (pest wise). Then I added some macro algae and got these and vermetid worms...

I dose Phyto and reef roids heavy in my tanks, so these guys take over the shadowed back glass...*sigh*...

It's a bristle for sure! I've had them, never been nothing but great cleaners but really freak me out to look at, especially when they get real big. Lol

The ones on mine have noticeably grown. One might be a couple of inches big.
