All you have to do is google video search and you will see they get large and taste delicious.

I didn’t watch any videos, but I will go ahead and do that thanks

Yea, I found that they will get to a size of 3 to 4”. A min of 10 gallons would be good for that crab. If I were to get a crab like that, I would probably get at least a 15 gallons tho

Ok, so I got some new corals thanks to WV Reefer. I put them in the tank about 30 mins ago, they are all starting to open up. I do not have any glue to glue down the corals that weren’t on a plug as of right now, but I’m picking some up tomorrow. There is a neon green toadstool(personally one of my favorites), Granny Smith zoas, hammer, branching gsp(which has not opened up for some reason yet), Jedi mind trick Montipora, Kidd’s reds zoas, and red cluster dusters.

I’m surprised that toadstool opened up that fast! It’s usually very moody. 😄

Yea, it seems to like the spot in the tank. I can’t figure out the gsp tho. Hasn’t shown any signs of opening up

It can take a day or so to open. It likes flow.

Yeah they are slow opening. They grow fast. I have mine on a stick island lol.

I was actually going to buy a small piece of rock tomorrow and glue it to that, so it can’t spread😂.

Yeah that's probably a good idea. I actually just found out then can spread across the sandbed...Mine is starting too, maybe half an inch on the sandbed right now. Didn't think it would and well it is.

Wow, I didn’t even know it could do that? Does gsp require high light? Or low to medium light?

I'm not sure tbh...Mine seems happy at the bottom of the tank, granted its directly under my ai prime so who knows.

I just have a quick question. If you put zoas on a rock without gluing them down, will they eventually attach by themselves?

GSP is adaptable. Mine was in med light, high flow.

Zoas can attach without glue but the current may blow them loose so just keep an eye out.

I have them on a spot on the rock where not too much current is hitting them. They seem to be doing quite nicely right now. They look beautiful

I got some bad news. While I was out, my wavemaker came loose and made a huge sandstorm in the tank. Some of the frags got buried and they aren’t happy. I’m hoping they will all be ok

The corals seem to be doing ok, the only one that’s worrying me is the gsp. I used a aquarium coral frag glue paste made by instant ocean to glue down the corals, and they are not happy. The toadstool looks amazing. A piece of the monti actually broke off, so I glued it to the rock in hopes that it will grow into its own colony.

Any changes will upset the GSP. Once you leave it alone it should spring back.

Make sure that that hammer isn’t getting too much flow. The tentacles should be swaying not blowing. When fully extended you won’t be able to tell how many heads there are...... it will look like one full piece.

Yea, it’s only like that bc of the sandstorm last night. How much light did you have yours under? I tried to put it in a place with not a ton of flow

When I was putting the gsp in the putty, I think that I pushed on the middle of it too hard. It was really mad and it released a small amount of green liquid which I don’t think is good. I’m hoping that he will be ok. The middle is the worst, but the bottom and the top look good.

Mine was in quite a bit of light but off to the side of the tank so that it wasn’t getting blasted by flow.
