How’s the tank looking so far?

So I got into the tank and manually removed a ton of the cyano like you guys said, and did a 50% water change. Hopefully things start to turn around.

And one question, I have a yellow watchman that you can see at the bottom of the pictures, and he lets me pet him, is that normal for a goby? It seems very weird to me😂

So far so good! Which Marineland filter is that? Some of them have a second slot that you can put a custom media filter holder into. 

I'm running a canister filter but keep a 200B to get surface agitation, flow, and some extra filtering. The extra slot is filled with seachem on mine.

Yes, mine does, it’s not a very big compartment, but I did once upon a time put de nitrate in it, I used to have a ammonia problem.
