Mazzy21
A bubble diffsuer is just a plastic plate with lots of small holes drilled in it, right? I mean there's nothing more to it than that, or am I missing some component?? I have a tiny ornamental volcano top (only 2"). I know...plastic decor, paint chips, blah blah... I've weighed the choice and I'm using it. I want to put it on top of a low stack of LR. It comes with a bubbler inside which I want to use but it makes the big bubbles and I want fine bubbles. I'm thinking I can use the same concept as a skimmer diffuser (the bubbler in the volcano is perm attached) and just tuck it up inside this little volcano so the bubbles diffuse. Does that sound legit? In theory it seems like it should work. PS - I know bubbles create salt creep. I have a glass lid on my tank. Quote Link to comment
