Coral? good? Bad? Ugly?

This came as a hitch-hiker on some live rock I got, it started out as a little speck, but has grown pretty quickly in the last couple weeks. It's pretty flat, and a little smaller than a dime

That looks somewhat more like the plate coral baby I have that hitchhiked on a live rock branch of zoas. When it is fully opened during the day the flesh extends past the flat skeleton and will wave a little bit in the flow. Mine will take tiny pieces of mysis. It is dime sized now, too.

Yes it is a baby plate. Eventually it will detach and the site could potentially create another. Lucky find.
