Top Shelf Aquatics
Over the years we've done a couple modest expansions at Top Shelf Aquatics. Most of them were additions to the already existing retail store. In fact, this was TSA circa 2012 We had just finished putting a couple coats of paint on the walls and finishing up the flooring. Slowly but surely we continued adding to the retail store, taking over most of the remaining units to add a larger dedicated fish system and an invertebrate system able to handle the variety our local customers wanted. When we built the first TSA Aquaculture farm we thought that we would have space for years to come. Within no time however, the growth we were getting out of these systems quickly filled the tanks up. (The SPS system) A year and a half into the first farm being in use we began plans for Phase 1 of the TSA Aquaculture facility. This would be separate from the retail store and would be purely dedicated to farming corals using the highest quality equipment we could possibly get our hands on. We would still have dedicated QT systems, and now more room for bulk frags, high end frags and space for the colonies to breathe. 4 2 Quote Link to comment

Top Shelf Aquatics
Getting some final touches done. We are doing a bit of wire management right now. Frags have officially gone in the first observation tank We are filling up the sumps with bounces as we speak as well 🙂 Within the next month more and more corals will be slowly introduced into this tank and they will be divided into batches for QT. We hope to have corals in the QT'd tanks within the next month( Moving pieces from the current LPS and SPS QT tanks into these systems). After everything is moved over we will begin to send new batches of corals through QT and we aim to have several new releases in the next 3-6 months 2 Quote Link to comment
hotdrop
That looks really cool but must be really expensive to use what is basically hobby grade gear for a commercial operation. If you are getting it at a significant discount make it makes sense though especially if you are allowed to sell it after a few years. Quote Link to comment

Utilizing the best of both worlds to keep the coral happy and healthy. Quote Link to comment
