Mini Tide M over an IM20 Abyss

Recommended Posts

HiImSean

I currently have a Tide M over an ADA 30W (12x7x9.5) and I’m thinking of upgrading to an IM20 Abyss panorama. Do you think the mini would be adequate for the upgrade for LPS and a BTA?

I had pretty decent coverage with my Mini over a 25 Lagoon. Depending on how you place things, you would probably be fine.

Certainly doable. Like @Kellie in CA said, just placement will be key for some corals. If you are sticking with just the LPS and BTA, you will be fine.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Dave, I figured it would provide enough light for that stuff, none of which are too light hungry.

This new plan sounds interesting. How close are you to pulling the trigger?
