I have a blue of the same color that has also grown to be a monster.  KPAquatics says that this large blue form comes from much deeper water than the typical ric’s.  They are very impressive in life.

Have you grown any additional heads? Curious how keeping them has gone, they look great will def need to pick one up.

I will have had mine for 2 years next month.  Unlike my other ric’s it has never added additional mouths, it just keeps getting bigger.  It is as easy to keep as other ric  floridae.  KP said that is their experience as well.  They usually have them in stock although during the winter availability is somewhat spotty.
