Daniel91
I’m always the first to jump in with ideas on people’s scape but now I’m having a hard time for my own..... Goal: Simplicity ALL sides free Placement good for all coral Alright, I’m not too confident with my fluval 13 scape. I have three of CaribSea Life Rock as seen in the picture. I do also have another huge(!) rock from them and some dry rock. Give me some ideas please. Goal is mixed reef, two fish and a ton of inverts. Worst concern - No hiding places for fish and inverts? Please ignore dirty glass, I just made it wet. 2 Quote Link to comment

JavaJacketOC
Looks good to me, lots to work with there. 2 Quote Link to comment
Daniel91
Thanks!l @WV Reefer @JavaJacketOC My other tank has a rock slammed against the back, so there’s places for fish/inverts to hide. The scape being open and fully visable like this, will that present hiding “issues”? 1 Quote Link to comment

Daniel91
Oh @Clown79, you’re the reason I ended up with CaribSea Life Rock. I was so fixated on dry rock but yeah..... Thanks though, it really is amazing rock plus I got it at $3/lbs, so almost as cheap as any dry rock out there. 1 Quote Link to comment
Tom@HaslettMI
I really like it. No need to change anything. However, if you want to play around a little more, here are my suggestions. switch the front and top rocks to get a thinner arch. rotate the front rock 15-20 degrees so the arch isn’t a straight line. IamJoHo
Looks good here’s my Fluval 13.5. Much like yours. Maybe add a few more pieces to make the arch a little larger and fill the tank a little more. Either way it looks good. Lots of room to place things in the sand. 4 Quote Link to comment

I was lucky to get it on sale too(gotta love that😁) and I really enjoyed working with it 1 Quote Link to comment

Tom ^ what he said. Plus - maybe the entire arch can be place on a slight diagonal give depth perception when you look from both sides of the peninsula. 2 Quote Link to comment

RustyRocket
Looks good man! Just to add my 2 cents, a straight with the water refraction compression looks a little too linear in my eyes. I adding a small platform with smaller rocks puttied on 2/3 of the way up the arch and then a larger platform down in the sand on the opposite side and opposite end of the arch to add a little bit more Character to mine back when I had a peninsula. 1 Quote Link to comment
