SaltyBuddha
I purchased some plastic covered neodymium magnets from K&J magnets. Used them to make a few things in the tank. The plastic coating is really just a plastic shell glued to the magnet. Found out the shell in one magnet allowed water in and the it has been rusting. From the website, the neo magnet has a nickel and copper shell FYI for anyone using them. I ordered some regular neo magnets and will plastic dip myself. 2 Quote Link to comment
Tamberav
Spendy but have some of these I have used for years without issue... the plastic is thick and even when I get them all scratched up, its no problem. Just thought I would throw that out there if you don't feel like DIY. https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/oceans-wonders-n52-v2-mag-rack-replacement-magnets.html 1 Quote Link to comment

Trying to get smaller magnets for now, but good to know these are out there. Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
Depending on how strong of a requirement "small" is, iron/traditional magnets may not work for you, but are the safest option. Quote Link to comment
