FISHnChix
So I dunno if it a coincidence but i added some new coral and didnt dip.. I know its dumb but I have never done it before and freaks me out that it might harm the coral lol.. so what is this flat worm looking deal? Is it indeed a flat worm that I have heard about? From the pictures I have searched online it doesn't look the same 🤔 Quote Link to comment
OPtasia
Always dip. Hell, even QT. I use Revive coral dip and it's very safe. Every frag gets a 10 minute dip and a very close inspection to scrub off and remove vermetids, hydroids and algaes. 1 Quote Link to comment
RayWhisperer
Oooohhhh. That's a cool one. I'm not sure if it's a sea slug (what I'm thinking it might be) or a flat worm. Is that two of them in the cup, or just a reflection? Edit. What coral do you think it came in on? Quote Link to comment

Kinda a big guy about 1.5 inch.. I dunno what it came on but I inspected everything pretty well but I ordered this bigger acan I bet it was on there.. So maybe a flat worm or sea slug?? I am guessing neither of those is good for a reef tank lol.. been meaning to pick up a wrasse anyways 🤣 Quote Link to comment
RayWhisperer
While it may, or may not be actually harmful for your tank. It's certainly not going to be easy to keep without knowing its diet. Most are carnivores, very, very specialized ones. 1 Quote Link to comment
