teatimecrumpet
Hi, I have this unknown algae growing on my live rock. I did check the sticky on common nuisance algae but can't really tell what it is. It is on the LR it is dark green and does not come off easily. It looks and feels kind of like moss to me and is attached low and close to the rock. My question is should I try to remove it off the daisy star polyp mat that it is growing on? Should I try to scrub it off the live rock? Thanks Quote Link to comment
IamJoHo
Do you have a clean up crew. I would say instead of scrubbing and disturbing things find something that would find it to be a tasty treat. Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
Not sure of the type of algae (there are sooo many kinds....google PhycoKey, a visual id tool) but tell us about the tank: recent test results age how it's set up history Quote Link to comment

mcarroll
I think it's probably coraline that's growing a little weird because of the light you have. Photos you'll find will only be under regular reef lights. 1 Quote Link to comment
