Smitty26
Anybody know what this is? I just saw it a few day's ago, and it's growing fast. Thanks in advance, this is my first saltwater tank. Quote Link to comment
DreC80
If it's right above your zoas it looks like an aptasia. 1 Quote Link to comment
Oldsalt01
And a might perty one too. Several ways to deal with it: Aptasia X, make it withdraw into the rock and super glue over it, mojano wand, chisel it out of the rock (get every single cell though because they will regrow from that point), Peppermint Shrimp (caution, they can turn on your coral), file fish (caution, they can too). Get it before it spreads cuz once there’s 1 they can easily spread. I rely on Aptasia X myself. Quote Link to comment
Sparty
Never had them myself but aren't there a few more smaller ones in the frame too? Lower left and to the right of the larger one? Quote Link to comment

MrObscura
Aiptasia as mentioned. I just hit em with aiptasia x as the pop up. Ive also epoxied over them but if there's an exit they'll just move and pop up somewhere else. Quote Link to comment
Sparty
As I said before, I've never had them but after watching a few videos of using Aptasia-X, I kinda wish would get a few just for the chance to use that stuff. Looks pretty cool and seems like it would be quite satisfying if these buggers are as annoying as people say. Quote Link to comment

Poodges
I like the superglue method personally. Might take a try or two but it’s safe to use. Quote Link to comment
Smitty26
Thanks everybody, and yes there are several more sprouting up on that rock.... I will have to eradicate them. Quote Link to comment
