Couple quick and ugly shots to show it’s still alive! It's ok, summers are for slackers! I wish my pico jar looked so good after some 'neglect' 😄 Holy moly those zoanthids have EXPLODED! 😮 It's incredible to see them filling in the bare bottom of the tank now, and on up the front glass. So cool! 3 Quote Link to comment

We need some daylight shots of the tank !! I know! I'm always at work and on weekends the kids and life always get in the way (not complaining!) Once the aiptasia is a little more beat and the Monti maybe colors back up I will feel motivated to. This tank runs bluer than any I have before though. Even daylight is actinic compared to my first reefs. Thanks for following along! 1 Quote Link to comment
Reefkid88
Oh believe me man,I know lol. I have a 2 year old and a 4 month old,the struggle is insanely real. It's definitely not usually the most dominant color of anyone's tank, which helps mine to look unique! Wasnt on purpose, the scrambled eggs just spread like fire. Yes that's correct! 13 hours ago, Toshas79 said: Hi what are your media reactor is for? Thanks I run ROX carbon for one week a month after a water change. It's inside a fine mesh media bag, sandwiched between sponges in the IM Desktop Media reactor. Tank got a present for it’s feature and 2yo Bday. Picking up the live sale wins Thursday. Shots from the sale below. The acro was a $5 impulse grab. We’ll see how it likes my “unknown parameters”. There’s 2-3 more zoas I grabbed too not pictured. Safe to say the tank feature has piqued my interest again! Quote Link to comment

shaner014
Doing another thing. Going to chop up some of the scrambled egg carpet to make room for the new zoas I got. I love the scrambled eggs. They are bordering on invasive right now though, and would love the carpet to have variety. Spice of life and all! Needed a tank to hold some frags until I can trade them in, and also had a mini tide laying around. Eventually it’ll be a display pico on a new desk, as pictured. Currently it’s in the messy fish area of “the other side” of the basement. Fugly pictures. 3 1 Quote Link to comment

Look forward to seeing the new flooring grow in. 3 Quote Link to comment
