So I came back from the gym to find my zoa frag knocked over by snail.

My dumb self forgot to wash my hands and I had used antibacterial gel on my hands at the gym.

Then  used new cleaning gloves (that i rinsed before hand) to pick them up and reposition.

They opened back up but with this black brown spots on them.... did I kill some polyps?!?!

Just remember to wash your hands (and rinse them off well) before working in your tank.

I think they will be fine.  Take a turkey baster and gently blow off any debris.

think the color will return with time?

I would guess yes.  But even if it doesn't, new polyps won't be affected.
