brucelan
I have a 200 gallon saltwater tank. About 20 fish and some coral. I dose calcium and do regular water changes. Water parameters look good, but I have these bubbles all over the live rock. Any idea what these are and how to get rid of them? I can try to get better photographs if these are too blurry. Thanks! specore
The bubbles are just from the growth producing O2, CO2, etc. Usually limiting nutrients (not overfeeding, etc) , staying on top of water changes and blasting rocks daily with a turkey baster will improve this over time. It's a marathon though. Quote Link to comment
brucelan
OK, thanks. So i just went to the tank and blasted the rocks with a turkey baster and it does come off easily, but where does it go? Does it hurt anything? Quote Link to comment

Well, hopefully it gets caught in your mechanical filtration (i.e. filter floss). Large mats I would scoop out with a net Quote Link to comment
