Frogspawn what happened?

Hey everyone,

so 3 weeks ago I added 1 hammer and 1 frogspawn and the hammer is alive and well but the frogspawn is pretty much gone...

images attached how I found the the stem.

then while I was cleaning the tank today I found a piece of the head also in the images attached.

im new to all this any idea what happened? I thought hammers and frogspawn were pretty similar light/flow wise? Is this piece of the head salvageable?

Ime hammers can do well with more flow than frogspawn.  I'd leave it, it's possible it will still grow.  Not a huge chance, but possible.

It’s in a IM nuvo 20 with the stock pump would that really be too much flow? :S

Any other theories? The hammer is still going strong... I just don’t think it would be flow related because so many people upgrade the pumps on their IM nuvo and I’m just running stock.

kind of nervous because I might be getting new pumps for Christmas, don’t want to kill the hammer :S
