MrObscura
I'd think it be too hard keeping the dosing accurate and consistent. Quote Link to comment

If yes, pros/cons? I would probably not, the trace bacteria in your topmoff water could start metabolizing the formate/acetate Into bicarbonate. A cheap doses would be a better option. Travis
And we are dosing 🙂 3 Quote Link to comment
Travis
Well. 1 day down. Tested this morning, 6 am, before the first ever dose, alk was 9.2. Tested again just now, 7 pm, and the alk is 9.2. I did a single 10ml dose. If this trend continues, the 1000 ml bottle will last 100 days! 😁 I estimate my total water volume to be 60g of actual water. Will report back tomorrow 7 central 😉 1 Quote Link to comment
Travis
Also started dosing the optional elements today. One pump is 1ml. So my tank should need 2ml per day according to the calculator. 2 pumps per day. I can handle that 😂 1 Quote Link to comment
Travis
Todays Alk test, 9.5 dKh. I cut the dose in half to 5 ml per day. we'll see what tomorrow looks like. 🙂 Quote Link to comment

Looks like the “1 part “ works well for ya. I might give it a try when I’m done with my B-Ionic. Quote Link to comment
Travis
Its more trace elements that can’t be mixed with the All For Reef. Quote Link to comment

The OP posted a photo with a different bottle, now after seeing the picture above, I dared to ask him what it was without actually going to the website and reading all the details. Was that too much to ask? With all due respect, if you've got nothing to say, don't say anything at all. The OP already responded hours ago. Cheers! 1 Quote Link to comment
Travis
Hey now, keep it nice folks 😂 Here’s the link for the K+ Elements. https://www.tropic-marin-smartinfo.com/en/minerals/k-elements.html 2 Quote Link to comment
Travis
Well, either my tank doesn't use up Alk like everyone else, or this stuff is strong. Alk up to 9.7. Dropped the dose down to 2.5 ml per day. And I'll say this, being strong is better than weak. It'll last longer 😂 Quote Link to comment
Travis
Alk 9.7 Ca 450 NO3 15 PO4 0.08 I think that the nitrate and phosphate are going to be interesting to watch because this product does a a small amout of a carbon source. 1 Quote Link to comment
ReefGoat
Your levels are very similar to mine. I have 10 nitrate and .07 phosphate but my alk is around 7. My tank isnt stocked enough to start dosing yet though. Following along because this product is pretty interesting. Quote Link to comment
Tamberav
Do you know your alk usage? Is there instructions on the bottle on how much to add based on usage? I was assuming you were switching from 2 part and needed dosing or no? Quote Link to comment
Travis
I was manually dosing two part once a week. I was loosing 1 dkh per week. Quote Link to comment
RayWhisperer
At a consumption rate that low, why the need to dose? It's cheaper and easier to maintain it by water changes at that stage. 1 Quote Link to comment
Travis
My tank is mostly softies, some LPS and a few SPS. Quote Link to comment

Travis your tank looks nice but you need more sticks in there, maybe a clam too lol Trying to make things easy for you 😆 My tank is 3 times smaller and I have to dose 4ml of each part every day. Expecting way more once everything really takes off. Quote Link to comment
RayWhisperer
Oh shit, son. You got tangs! 1 Quote Link to comment
Andreww
😹 Mister Travis, you are under arrest . Anything you say will be used against you in a federal tang court! 3 Quote Link to comment

Travis
Well the coral seem to be enjoying the added trace elements. The LPS in particular are quite puffy and flowy. 2 Quote Link to comment
