So after I finished my last DIY light found these pucs, and posted about them on Reef2Reef there are quite a few versions of them.  well I didn't really follow that post after I made the post, but some guys tried them out and reviews seemed decent.  I just got a reat deal on a 93 gallon cube, so needed a bigger light.  so I decided to try a couple of these pucs myself.

This is the one I went with, very ecotech g4 pro like in layout and spectrum

Channel 1 4x395nm 600mah

Channel 2 4x450nm 1200mah

Channel 3 4x470nm 600mah

Channel 4 4x420nm 600mah

Channel 5 2x 6500k 1x495nm 1x660nm 1x450nm

I went with 2 of them.  and I wanted a bit more "punch" so added to the array a luxeon K16 Royal blue running at 600mah, and 2 Mint LEDs running at 1000 on its own channel as well.  Used a 12in Makers slim heatsink I had.  Controlled with Reefpi.

Below is the array before I cleaned up the wires

shot of my current 20in cube with new light running at like 30% total output which might be a bit too bright still for this tank, also a bit "shadowy since its just sitting on the glass

Are you using batteries? Why are you rating them in mAH?

Looks kinda' purple. I would add some cyan or lime (or mint :)) to counteract some of it. Otherwise looks like they'll do well.

Also make sure you run that 395nm and 420nm channel very cool, they aren't known for having the longest lifetime (EpiLEDs emitters) and will often burn out their lens. There aren't any EpiLEDs that can take mor than 700mA in these spectra, and 300~500mA would be safest.
