help me decide light for nuvo 10

i bought a nuvo 10 and it came with a radion XR15 G3 pro - but in my local forum I saw a brand new nanobox mini tide fs that i like the sleek look of.

 

Any opinions on which light can offer better coral growth? I also know the G3 is an older model and not as good as the G4..so longevity is also a consideration if I should just sell the G3 before it gets to be out of date.

Personally I would stick with the G3 because while it's not as new as the G4 it's still able to grow any coral you could ever want and have plenty of years of life still in it depending on the condition its in.

Definitely would stick with Radion.

Like @RoboNarples2929 has said, it's a great light that definitely can handle any coral you might want.

 

 

Led fixtures often last 50,000 hrs. That's 11yrs when used for 12hrs/day.

I run that light on my nuvo 20. Wouldn't have it any other way.

thanks for the input - looks like i'll still with the g3 - recommend using the diffuser? or is it mainly for aesthetic purposes

I think it's mainly for aesthetic. If you had a bigger tank it would help defuse the light.
