Wide Leather Corals rather than tall?

Hello!

Simple question, I know there are various types of leather corals, I'm just wondering if there are specific types that tend to spread and grow wide rather than forming a tall "foot" with a smaller crown?

Or are there external parameters that push leathers towards one or the other, light, nutrients, etc?

 

I'll happily take any pointers. 🙂 Looking to get a leather for my first coral because clown fish seem to go pretty well with them.

Look for Fiji yellow. It’s actually the centerpiece on the recent tank of the month.

Flower leather, or sinularia dura, will grow out. 

 

Mine has always been a little "floppy" but is a really fast grower.  I got it as a 3" frag a little over a year ago and it has almost tripled in size.  Mine has done well under high light and medium flow.
