Havre
Hello! Simple question, I know there are various types of leather corals, I'm just wondering if there are specific types that tend to spread and grow wide rather than forming a tall "foot" with a smaller crown? Or are there external parameters that push leathers towards one or the other, light, nutrients, etc? I'll happily take any pointers. 🙂 Looking to get a leather for my first coral because clown fish seem to go pretty well with them. Cheers! Quote Link to comment
mitten_reef
Look for Fiji yellow. It’s actually the centerpiece on the recent tank of the month. 1 Quote Link to comment
KNelson
Flower leather, or sinularia dura, will grow out. Mine has always been a little "floppy" but is a really fast grower. I got it as a 3" frag a little over a year ago and it has almost tripled in size. Mine has done well under high light and medium flow. 1 Quote Link to comment
