Perthreefer
I run two on my 2ftx2ft shallow cube, massive overkill really but I wanted the extra PAR for acropora... 43065117834_ec447ef36d_k by kenpau01, on Flickr Photo is from the initial startup, at the moment I have: Torch Hammer Chalice Zoas Blastomussa Acans Lobophylia Acoropora Birdsnest Goniopora Pocillopora Star polyps Blue sympodium Think that's about it, I also have a Squamosa clam which relies heavily on lighting to survive. This is the program I run... radion by kenpau01, on Flickr I'm getting good growth from all corals at this point so I'd say the intensity I have it at is ok for now, that is obviously with two units though and not one... three by kenpau01, on Flickr eight by kenpau01, on Flickr 1 Quote Link to comment
Joevember
I max out at 50% on my nuvo 20. You should use the acclimation option and start around 40. Quote Link to comment

I plan to just drill through the Biocube hood and put it on. Because it will be lower to the water do you think it would be safe to to start at 25% and work up to 45% over 3 weeks and see how things look? Or start 35% and work up to 55%? Worried about over doing it, but don’t want to under do it either. Quote Link to comment
wmjr
Played around with different settings and intensities. I chose the coral lab soft coral template. Changed the colour for a slightly brighter look. Decided to start at 35% and use acclimation mode to 50% over 4 weeks. Quote Link to comment
