FlytheWMark
I'm having issues with my torch... he's been in my 10 gallon for months, I've set up a new 20 gallon and when I did I moved a bunch of corals around (in the 10 gallon) including the torch. He was getting a lot more flow in the new spot and started to close up. I initially moved him down to get out of the flow but to no avail. I then transferred him to the 20 gallon tank and put him in a quiet area of the tank hoping he'd come back out but even that hasn't worked. This is going on 2 weeks now. Paramaters are stable (0 ammonia, nitrates 2, Calc 400-420, Alk 8.4-9, 0 phosphates). Hard to tell from the pic put his tentacles still look healthy they are just barely coming out. Thoughts?? Joevember
Seems like he's recovering from tissue necrosis. I'd just let him be. Quote Link to comment
Clown79
I went through the same thing. My torch was in a high flow area and wasn't happy after weeks, so I moved it. That didn't work either. Mine could not recover from the damage done. I would keep it in a moderate flow area and not touch it. Give it time to recover. Quote Link to comment
