Been using the light for a year now. 

Took it apart to clean and currently waiting for David to get back to me on how to rewire and add mint led. 

I have a defective laptop LCD display around took it apart Use the layers as light diffuser.

Here's the wiring to control Mint led. If you want to do this yourself double check  with David make sure you have Mint led install on the board.

Custom light diffuser works out great coral loves it. Especially corals place right under the light doesn't get that sharp beam light.

I like to do the following. 

  • Clean splash guard every month. No need to take off, just wipe down the splash. 
  • Take the lid off and clean fan ~2-3 months. 

That is it!
