NuisanceAlgaeCultivator Posted November 14, 2018 Share Posted November 14, 2018 I purchased the Aquatic Life 115 mini internal skimmer from Amazon for about 50.00 for a 30gallon. It gets the job done, but there are a few small things I’ve encountered: a) Mine needs adjustment every 1-3 days due to water evaporation b) makes a gargling noise, YouTube has a bunch of videos on how to address this c) micro bubbles from time to time, I have no idea why sometimes and sometimes not, but a simple piece of filter cloth on the output stops them 50.00 can’t complain too much though.
