Noobreefer90
So I finely got my test kit in today my tank has been running for about a week now live rock, live sand etc. here’s my test results my nitrates are really high and it looks that there is a little ammonia in the tank. Would a big water change help this. Quote Link to comment
seabass
I'd wait until ammonia becomes undetectable, then change out all the water. Quote Link to comment
Clown79
Once ammonia is 0 a waterchange neede to be done. The size will depend on final nitrate test results. Quote Link to comment
Donny41
100% (or as close as possible) water change after ammonia/nitrite 0. Quote Link to comment
