That would only work if you completely took off the canopy. i dont know about the reviews on that but i believe an abi tuna blue would work better. If you wanted to leave the lid i would suggest getting a biocube retrofit or make a diy led fixture.

This light can't be used with the canopy. You will need to buy a retrofit kit to keep the lid. 

 

A better choice would be the Abi Tuna blue 23 watts.

The bulb has a good reputation, corals look great under it and grow well. Its about the same price.

I’ve took the hood off alrdy it’s bare top.   And don’t want that much blue.

Its really only comparable to 20k. 20k visually adds a lot of pop and most coral vendors use 20k halide bulbs to showcase their corals. even though it looks really blue over picture imo it is a great color in person.
