Ya because the salinity is too low for corals, it's not consistent, alk is too low.

 

You dosing for alk will be a moot point because when you do waterchanges, it will drop.

 

Consistency and stability is very important.

 

The cost of loss in coral is not worth the 5 mins it takes to make salt water
