New clownfish is sick after coral was epoxied

I got my first couple of clownfish the other day.

Today I glued down some candy canes with epoxy.

 

Now one of the clownfish is covered in white stuff and keeps darting around crazy fast.

(could be unrelated to the cloudy water from epoxy?)

That looks like brooklynella and totally unrelated.

 

The clowns need removal to a qt tank and treated. 

 

Your tank will need to go fishless for 8 weeks

Well he died 😭, the other one is sluggish and won't eat but has no physical symptoms so far.

Today he seems to be doing better than yesterday though.

 

Are there any fish diseases like this one that can be problematic for LPS and soft corals?
