Tuan’s Reef
Thanks guys. I just ordered some marine pure gem balls to put in the bottom of the media caddy for extra biological filtration. The reef glass skimmer is doing great at the moment . Removing all film on the surface making it nice and clean :). I might upgrade to tunze 9001 when I have a heavier bio load in the future. 1 Quote Link to comment

My Wrasse had ich and died during copper treatment . The clown is doing well in quarantine. So no fish in the DT for 8 weeks. I just picked up a nuvo 10 to use after the treatment for the little guy . Picked up couple of Zoas when I purchased barracuda ri do unit. Looks really nicez yellow and orange zoas . 1 Quote Link to comment
Wonderboy
Awesome approach so far - sorry the wrasse couldn't do it - the zoas look quite pleased to be in their new home - I like the intensity of yellow face zoas; I just saw some like yours recently, too... might go back for them Quote Link to comment
DreC80
Looking good so far. Have a six line in my tank as well. Once you start adding fish again, recommend putting a six line in as your last fish, as they can be a little aggressive sometimes (personal experience). Quote Link to comment

I plan to have another ocellaris clown , yellow watchman goby , and the six line wrasse. I’ll make sure if I do getting another wrasse , it be the last fish. Quote Link to comment
Tuan’s Reef
Upgraded my protein skimmer from reef glass to IM Nuvoskim DC skimmer. Seriously impressed by the performance and low decibels. It’s pulling gunk already on its first day. No micro bubbles whatsoever in my DT. I truly believe if you have the Nuvo 10 or 20 and need a protein skimmer , than this is it. Perfect fit and finish . Quote Link to comment
Tuan’s Reef
Been very active with maintaining and upgrading my tank with livestock and equipment. Sold off my Nuvo 10 so I can keep my focus on my Nuvo 20. Filtration is now upgraded to the Nuvoskim skimmer . 2 Intank media caddies. Filter floss , Chemi pure blue on one caddy and filter floss on the other. I have a fuge light I’m planning to add chaeto to the media caddy . Running both AI Prime HD’s with the following settings attached. Good results so far. For flow : i upgraded to the Ecotech MP10 running in TSM mode and the IM wave maker at the other end. Planning to add a 2nd MP10 to replace the IM wave maker soon. Return pump is now a IM mighty jet dc pump. Got myself a RBTA and mated pair of designer Black onyx percs. 1 Quote Link to comment

Tuan’s Reef
This acan was my 2nd coral I started with in October 2018. Didn’t see any changes other then the polyps would get little bigger but not by much. Then the other morning while I got up for a drink of water in the middle of the night, shined a flashlight and see all kinds of baby polyps all around each head. Might have about 15 new heads inbound. Just fed it some food in these pics so you can see the babies a little better 1 Quote Link to comment

Lights don’t come on until 4pm so corals are still asleep. Comes alive with movement and colors once the Radions come on tho 🙂 Quote Link to comment
Tuan’s Reef
It’s a wiring mess inside the cabinet , that’s what I’m doing today ... wire cleanup lol 1 Quote Link to comment
Tuan’s Reef
I really like the acrylic lid I got for it as well. Top lids at this juncture, the only equipment left to buy is a automatic doser. Going to pick up the jebao dp4 and dosing container and leave it alone after that. Hoping to fill out my tank enough to frag and sell lol 2 Quote Link to comment
